Lauri Pirttiaho

Lauri Pirttiaho has Dipl. Eng. degree (1991) in Engineering Physics from the University of Oulu and M.S. (1994) and Ph.D. (1997) in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University where he studied as a Fulbright exchange visitor.

He is interested in history and philosophy of science and engineering, engineering education, and management of engineering business.

Currently he is working for Nokia corporation. He is member of the Finnish Physical Society, IEEE, IEEE CS and ACM. He can be reached by e-mail: lapi@ieee.org.
